How we handle your details

Who we are

TrueNorthGulf is a document preparation and application support service operating from Bengaluru, India. We do not have an office, team or operations in Canada or anywhere outside India. This policy is written to meet India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), and explains what we do with your personal data when you use this website.

What we collect

When you submit an enquiry form on this site, we collect your name and a contact detail — an email address or WhatsApp number — along with which service you asked about and anything you typed in the message field.

We also use privacy-friendly website analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they use. This does not use cookies and does not identify you personally.

We do not collect passports, financial documents, refusal letters or any part of your application file through this website. Those are only ever exchanged directly with our team once you have engaged us, through WhatsApp or email — never uploaded through a public form on this site.

Why we collect it

Solely to respond to your enquiry about our services — to get back to you on WhatsApp or by email, and to keep a record of what you asked so our team isn't starting from zero the next time you write in. We do not use it for anything else.

Where it's stored

Your details are stored in a secured database (Supabase, Mumbai region), access to which is restricted to our team. They are never made public and never placed in a URL. We keep an enquiry only for as long as we need it to respond to you and keep a record of the conversation — not indefinitely.

We do not sell or share your data

We never sell your personal data, and we never share it with any third party for their own marketing. It is used only by our team, only to respond to you.

Your rights, and how to reach us

Under the DPDP Act you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do any of these, or to raise a question or complaint about how we handle your data, email contact@truenorthgulf.com. We will action deletion requests unless we are required to keep something for a legal or regulatory reason, and we will tell you if that is the case.
